RSG was retained to assist the Innovate78 team, comprised of the North San Diego County cities of San Marcos, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Vista, and Escondido, to develop a shared strategy for moving their newly established economic development initiative forward. RSG conducted individual surveys and 60-minute one-on-one interviews with the five representatives to understand concerns and aspirations for the regional partnership. Once the results were consolidated, RSG facilitated a Strategic Planning Retreat to explore the role that Innovate78 should play in meeting the regional economic development needs of North San Diego County. RSG compiled a final report memorializing the actions and agreements made by the participants, emerging trends and sets of priorities, and RSG’s recommendations in making informed strategic decisions and leveraging a successful brand more effectively.
