Update addressing COVID-19

For the last 40 years, RSG has had the privilege of helping our clients build healthy communities. In light of current circumstances surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we felt it necessary to inform you on how we are addressing this issue.  Our staff and client’s safety are our primary concern!

Effective Friday, March 13, RSG is implementing a remote work policy through the end of the month, with the firm set to reassess the situation on March 30. This means that our firm’s staff will be working remotely during this time.  However, it should be noted that our office will remain fully operational.

We have elected to take this precautionary measure in an effort to be proactive in preventing the spread of the virus.  We would like to make it very clear that at this time, no RSG employees have tested positive for COVID-19. That being said, in an abundance of caution we feel that our actions are what is best for our staff, clients, and their respective communities.

Our office is equipped to remain fully operational in a remote capacity.  What does this mean for our clients?  RSG remains “open for business” and our clients can still expect to receive the highest quality of service that they have come to know and trust.  We are confident that this will provide minimal to no disruption for our clients.  You will still be able to reach all RSG staff via their direct emails, direct lines, or by calling our business line at (714) 541-4585.

Decisions regarding our ability to accommodate client meetings are being done on a case by case basis.  Our overall goal is to continue providing support to our clients and we will be sure to inform our clients of any anticipated issues or impact to them as information is received. 

RSG will continue to monitor this situation carefully and make modifications as needed based on current conditions and available information as it is released.  We appreciate your understanding on our decision and ask that you remain patient with us should we encounter any unanticipated obstacles.

  • How do I connect with project staff? – With RSG remaining open for business, you can continue to contact project staff and principals during our normal business hours (8:30 am – 5:00 pm PST) via email or phone. Our general business line is also available during normal business hours. 

  • Will current client project engagements experience any disruptions during this temporary remote work plan? – RSG staff will continue to review and conduct work as usual, ensuring that all previously set project milestones are met.  We expect minimal to no disruptions for our clients and their projects. 

  • How will client meetings be handled in the wake of RSG’s remote working plan? – In the event of a client meeting, to the fullest extent possible, we will facilitate and attend it remotely.  RSG has teleconferencing technology available for use by project teams for client meetings.  Should an in-person meeting be required (i.e. council meetings), the RSG Principal or senior staff member working on the project will be in attendance.
