New Hire Spotlight: RSG Adds Two New Directors to the Firm!

Here at RSG we pride ourselves on being able to recognize talent and passion, ensuring our clients are served by the best and brightest our industry has to offer.  We are happy to announce that we have recently made some additions to our existing team of remarkable talent.   Please join us in welcoming our two new Directors, Mark Sawicki and Lynn Kelly-Lehner, to the RSG family.

As a former client, Mark had a first-hand appreciation for the high quality of RSG’s work, and truly valued the wisdom and candor of RSG as a trusted partner.  As a Director now delivering consulting services, these are the attributes he wants to continue fostering and providing to new and legacy RSG clients.  With a Masters in Public Policy from the Goldman School at the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Finance, cum laude, from New York University, Mark has forged a unique 30+ year career across both the public and private sectors, from real estate asset management and small business startups to economic and community development, which informs his approach to municipal consulting services.

Mark joins RSG after undertaking leadership roles in economic development, community development, workforce development, and housing in the cities of Oakland, Vallejo, and San Carlos. He has previously consulted for cities, counties, and redevelopment agencies with Seifel Consulting based in San Francisco and served five years on the Housing Advisory Commission with the City of Berkeley.

Lynn returned to RSG in 2020, having started her professional career with the firm before spending 15 years in the public sector.  She earned a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Delaware and a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the University of Southern California.  Having recently served as Principal Management Analyst for the City of Temecula, Lynn has also completed extensive professional training and authored many articles for professional organizations.

Lynn is excited to join RSG because of the opportunity to empower local government leaders to make decisions about their communities, with our work able to be felt in communities across the state.  In addition to her passion for the work we do, Lynn  also has a passion for traveling and fitness, having competed in almost 100 total marathons, half marathons, obstacle course races, trail races, 10ks, and 5ks.

We are thrilled to have Mark and Lynn on board and know our clients will be as impressed with their knowledgebase and passion for the work we do as we are!
